Epoxy Systems for Packaging Adhesives

A variety of Westlake Epoxy resins and curing agents are suitable for food grade adhesives on packaging. Our food grade adhesive epoxy systems cure to a rigid solid which is non-porous for ease of cleaning, and are FDA compliant to FDA CFR 175.105 & 175.300. These epoxy adhesives offer excellent resistance to water, food, cleaning fluids and heat. Customers choose our two-component systems for:

• Performance – High strength bonds
• Processability – The cure speed allows adequate time for alignment of large or bulky equipment. Or heat can be applied to cure the food grade adhesive more quickly.
• Compliance – These epoxy adhesives are formulated with only those raw materials listed in the CFR as food safe.
