Electric (traction) motor encapsulation with high Tg epoxy systems provides sufficient crack resistance at -40°C and good mechanical strength at the operating temperatures reaching 150 to 200°C. Motors where the magnetic field is electrically induced are very efficient at high rotational speeds and can provide exceptional acceleration. The encapsulation contributes to fixation of the rotor coil wires to avoid unbalance leading to motor destruction.
