EPONEX™ Cycloaliphatic Epoxy Resin for Improved UV Resistance

EPONEX cycloaliphatic epoxy resin is a high performance, lower viscosity liquid epoxy resin based on hydrogenated bisphenol A. It is recommended for applications that require a higher level of UV resistance. Typical applications are listed below.

Beyond its use as a sole epoxy resin, EPONEX Resin 1510 can be used as a building block to prepare a lower viscosity version of a higher molecular weight epoxy resin, by reaction with bisphenol A, as well as lower viscosity esters, using conventional esterification reactants. EPONEX 1510 can also be used to reduce viscosity and improve color in standard BPA-based epoxy resins.

EPONEX Resins are suitable for heavy-duty applications on a variety of substrates including wood, metal, and concrete, as well as in sealers and aggregates.
